Cost

Before one becomes a member of the AST, he/she has to sit for a test which costs S$500. Thereafter, an entrance fee of S$750 will be charged for a member elected into the AST as a Certified Trichologist and S$500 for a member being elected as Associate Member. All practicing members except those who are office-bearers for the time being shall pay an annual subscription of S$500.

Requirement

Membership is open to any person who is at least 25 years old and above with 2 years of experience in trichology or a holder of science degree. The candidate has to exhibit, to the satisfaction of the Committee at its absolute discretion, outstanding experience and/or achievement in trichology. Once the candidate has met the membership criteria, the candidate is required to sit for the AST exam. The candidate who successfully completed the AST exam can gain admission as an AST associate or full member according to the exam results and upon payment of the appropriate fees. The candidate is encouraged to exhibit to the satisfaction of the Committee at its absolute discretion outstanding experience and/or achievement in Trichology.
